This is an excellent heavyweight flannel shirt. It is a rare combination of style, warmth, and comfort, and at a very reasonable price. It seems very well made and should hold up well. The elbow pads are an excellent touch, from both a style and durability point of view. The asymmetric pocket flap is a neat feature too, makes it stand out. I hope they come up with more colors soon.

My husband loved the Burlyweight flannel from Duluth Trading Co. I found this shirt to replace it as it is usually out of stock. This shirt is just as heavy and the elbow patches are an added bonus. Way better price. This shirt is way softer then the DTC shirt also.

These flannels are amazing, really wish they would bring in more colors though. Great fit and the fabric feels really nice. Size does shrink somewhat after first wash but they come somewhat large.

Q: What does "woven" mean in describing the fabric? As compared to say, the Buck Camp flannels? Also, will these shrink much with washing? First Buck Camp flannel I got in medium shrunk (gave it to my son) and I ordered a large for myself.

A: Compared to the Buck Camp Flannel, it is a thicker woven material. If washed and dried without heat, they should have little to no shrinkage.

A: The shirt does not have a lining, but the fabric does have a heavier weight and feel to it. Specifically, it is 295 grams per square meters.
