Review by Anthony J. on 7 Oct 2023review stating Well made
I purchased 2 of these shirts and love the look and feel of them. They are made from a thick material and the stitching is good. Overall these are well made, warm shirts that should last a lone time.
Wonderful - slightly heavier than LL Bean’s Chamois
Review by Albert V. on 8 Apr 2023review stating Wonderful - slightly heavier than LL Bean’s Chamois
This is an excellent, all cotton, heavy weight winter shirt. I am 5’10” and 160 pounds and the Medium, Deer Skin color, fits nicely around my shoulders while not being baggy in the waist. I also own a medium, slightly fitted cut, LL Bean Chamois shirt, which is 7.5 oz Portuguese cotton, and this shirt is about 10% heavier - 22 vs 19.7 oz total weight. So my guess is this is around 8.4 oz cotton. For reference, I also own the LW Buck Camp light/medium flannel, rated at 5.1 oz, and their Tough as a Buck medium weight flannel, rated at 6.8 oz, and this is a heavier weight shirt. Material is thick and slightly stiff as expected, but breaks in quickly. I wear mine tucked in my pants.
If you are looking for a heavy weight chamois shirt this is a great option since it is 10% heavier, and 20% less expensive, than the LL Bean’s offering. Highly recommended.
