Q: Is this jacket made from a stretchy material similar to a North Face bionic jacket (ie. Neoprene like in feel and stretching ability) or is the material more rigid like a gore-tex style jacket?

A: The Men’s Timberline Insulated Softshell has fabric that is similar in nature to that of the North Face Bionic Softshell Jacket. Like the North Face Jacket, our Timber Line Insulated Soft Shell Jacket is a softshell jacket bonded to a fleece. The biggest difference is our jacket has a woven quilted lining. This jacket is definitely not rigid like Gore-Tex, but due to the woven nature does not have a ton of stretch.
